For the past 30 years I have been in practice in Chadds Ford, PA. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from City University of New York, and completed an internship at the Devereux Foundation, in Devon PA. I am a member of the American Psychological Association, and am certified by that organization for the Treatment of Alcohol and Other Substance Use Disorders. I am also a member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and the Society for Modern Psychoanalysis. In 2010 I participated in mindfulness meditation training sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania.

I have had a lifetime interest in psychology, and very much enjoy working with people. Over my long career I have witnessed the ability of clients to not only overcome frightening and painful difficulties, but to grow in the process. It is inspiring to observe such emotional resiliency, and a privilege to facilitate it.
